Wine tourism weekend at the Sangenís i Vaqué winery and Mas Ardèvol

We offer you the possibility of enjoying the Priorat in one of the most beautiful and quiet areas of the region, tasting its wines and enjoying the local gastronomy of quality and proximity.

Do you want to enjoy the wine tourism with its wine and its local cuisine in Priorat? This travel package is fantastic to marvel at the wine and the tranquility of the area.

To obtain the best grapes one has to start with the best land, and this we have: permeable slate lands (llicorella) facing South. The influence of the sea breeze (Garbinada) will soften the severity of the summer and the vines can do their photosynthesis with maximum efficiency. The winery is located in the charming village of Porrera, where we will enjoy a guided tour of its facilities and we will see the whole process of the wine maturing.

We willl sleep in Mas Ardèvol (a farmhouse with history) and it is specializing in traditional cuisine of the Priorat. An ideal place to enjoy the wine and the oil tasting of the region.

At dinner time, we will have diner at Mas Ardèvol. This is characterized by having a cuisine with recipes according to seasonal foods. The dinner will be elaborated by the vegetables of the farmhouse’s gardens or by other KmO vegetables. This way, they guarantee the freshness and the top product quality.

The wine that will accompany the dinner ( white or black) are elaborated in the Bodega Sangenís i Vaqué:

• Lo Bancal de Garnacha 2015 is a black crianza wine, 100% black grenache and coming from La Cometa vineyards (25 years old vines). The wine has been in barrel for 6 months.
• The White Coster 2015 is a white crianza wine. This is 50% white grenache and 50% macabeo. The grape comes from some vineyards with more than 40 years. The wine has remained 4 months in new French oak barrels.

The stay will not leave anyone indifferent. Quality, proximity, tranquility, serenity, history and beauty will accompany us at all times, it will make a small tour of this region that both captivates us and frees us from the stress of the city.
